KIDS DAY:
NOVEMBER 12TH!!
On Nov. 12, Accounting for Kids Day volunteer teams will visit fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade classrooms to play an interactive investment game with each class. The game introduces students to the stock market and concepts such as how to budget and invest their money.

Internal Controls plays in an organization.
View "soft controls" in a way that goes beyond current accepted models.
Hear why soft controls are a required component of effective management
and what has made them so difficult to implement. Learn how certain
research on employee motivation suggests using soft controls to
recognize opportunities to improve organization performance. Discover
why "soft controls" may be a misnomer and explore the concept of
"behavioral controls" as a better way to detect and prevent the
opportunity for fraud to occur.

The AGA Ohio/Michigan Regional Vice president, Lori Mikesell, has
challenged the AGA chapters in Ohio and Michigan to a food challenge.
The chapters from the two states are competing to see which state can
raise the most pounds of food to support their local food pantries.
This challenge coincides with the OHIO STATE VS. MICHIGAN football
rivalry being held Saturday, November 22.
The food challenge will run Saturday, November 1 through Friday,
November 21. The winner will be declared Monday, November 24.
